User Interface

Navigation

To move around, either in Camera Path or Free navigation modes, use the arrow keys on the keyboard, or click the arrows on the 3D viewport.  The arrows ‘light up’ green to confirm selection.

Move forward to view full screen

Currently moving forward to view any multimedia content full screen is only possible by moving forward whilst in Camera Path mode, this same functionality is being added to Freeform Navigation mode.

Menu

There are currently 4 categories available when clicking the ‘Menu’ button–

a)
Merge

Merge – Clicking this button overlays a semi-transparent model of the Range Rover on top of the Range Rover Sport, highlighting the size differences.
Swap – Clicking this button ‘toggles’ between ‘solid’ versions of the Range Rover Sport and the Range Rover in exactly the same ‘virtual space’.

b)
Bodywork colours
Bodywork colours – Click the button and then select one of the three available colours (Belize Green, Chawton White and Rimini Red), to effect a change for the Range Rover Sport). Additional paints can be introduced via simple updates to the 3D ‘script’.

c)
Exterior views
Showroom’s exterior views – Click the button and then select one of the three available Panoramic images (London, Paris and New York), which will change the view outside the Showroom windows.  Additional images can be easily introduced to satisfy individual Dealer requirements.

d)
Guided tour
Guided Tour – Click the button to be teleported to the ‘hotspot’ in front of the entrance doors, from where camera paths form the basis of what could be expanded to become a totally automated 24/7 presentation.  This activity would also be triggered when the system is not in use with a customer, and may be enhanced with a soundtrack and any number of in-set video presentations or 3D model interactions, making it an ideal tool for unattended promotion.
