Home > Buzz 3D software Technical data > Output real-time 3D to VideoThe Buzz 3D real-time 3D engine, in addition to generating a freely navigable 3D experience, is also capable of playing pre-defined animations and – most importantly – rendering them to disk as video files, in addition to rendering to the screen. This places Buzz 3D technology in the role of a real-time renderer, capable of being used for the creation of 3D video presentations captured directly from the viewport at any frame-rate and resolution. Whether AVI, WMV, or Flash file formats (the latter primarily for web application), the power of this process becomes apparent when considering the fact that to achieve a similar video production using conventional renderers (such as 3DS MAX) will typically require several solid DAYS of continuous calculation. Anyone with 3DS MAX animation experience can easily set up new aspects to animations, including changes to camera views. Operators then need only run the new animation, press a button, and have their updated video presentation generated for them in a matter of minutes rather than days.
