Step 6 – Conversion Progress

At this stage, the wizard is now reading your original file(s) and writing out the reduced-in-size (if necessary) compressed versions of them in the location you have specified, at the quality level you’ve requested (if using JPG).

At any point, you can click ‘Abort’ to stop the procedure.

Handy Tip: Process one image at first to make sure you’re happy with both the quality and file-size of the output file, then you can process the remainder with confidence.
