Step 3 – Choosing your Video File

Choose Input Media

Usually the easiest way to locate your video file once it’s on your PC is to just click the ‘Browse’ button, and then choose the folder where your video file is stored. Let’s say you use a folder called “My Videos” and that this is where you would normally place your Camcorder files once you transfer them to your PC. Just click the ‘Browse’ button ….

Browse For Folder

… this will list all the hard disks on your PC, as well as any CD drives or network locations you have available. Where there are folders within folders simply click the ‘+’ symbol to open the necessary number of folders to reach the one you’re looking for, and then click the desired file and press ‘OK’ ….

Select Media File

Once you’ve selected your folder, any compatible movie files are listed in the box (Buzz 3D Media Converter recognises the following file-types: AVI, MPEG, MPG, TS, WMV). You can select an individual file just by clicking it and then pressing ‘Next’. Alternatively, if you have many files to convert, you can ‘box-select’ them, by moving the mouse-pointer into an empty portion of the file-window area, and holding down the left mouse button before moving the mouse. This will create a ‘box’ which you can use to ‘box-select’ multiple files.

Once you’re done, click ‘Next’.
