VideoChat ideally requires Microsoft Windows XP, but will run on earlier Operating Systems. Other necessary components include Microsoft DirectX 9, and we recommend a minimum of 64Mb of graphics memory. Please ensure you have up-to-date drivers for all your equipment. This can be checked by visiting your peripheral manufacturer's website and searching for the latest drivers for graphics cards, audio cards, webcams, etc, in conjunction with the Microsoft Windows Update website at http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com.

Please note that Buzz 3D software is optimised for the Intel Pentium 4 Processor, and is AMD Athlon compatible.

IMPORTANT

To install and use the VideoChat software, users MUST have Administrator Rights on their login.

** You will need to have a Direct Internet Connection, with the ability to control port allocations.  (Home users with Dial-up modems, direct Broadband and Routers will have this ability.  Users on a communal LAN such as an apartment complex or hotel Wi-Fi, may need to check with the system administrator to verify their PC can be provided a unique public IP Address of its own during connection, or that Internal Port Routing to a designated PC acting as Proxy Gateway is supported - Buzz 3D is happy to liaise with sysadmins to assist in placing our technology on their LANs).

When running VideoChat Plus the number of concurrent connections you are able to play is directly linked to the power of your Processor/supporting hardware and the speed of your Internet connection.  Please consider this when using the software as although the Minimum and Standard specifications will run the software the Recommended specification allows you to take full advantage of the functionality.
